The Annual Dzukogi Spoken Word Competition is a new annual spoken word championship organized by the Nigerlites Spoken Word artists for schools in Niger State. This competition is the first of it kind in the state. It is specially designed to celebrate a great Nigerian writer, who is one of the leading art administrators in Nigeria and founding father of Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation, BM Dzukogi, for his selfless service to Nigerian literature, Nigerian young artists, Nigerian teen authors, and humanity in general. It will feature young artists performing on stage until the winners emerge. The competition is exclusively directed at discovering new voices in spoken word, from Niger State.

The maiden edition of the Annual Dzukogi Spoken Word Schools Contest was successfully held from the 1st to the 2nd of March, 2024 at the HCAF Headquarters, Minna with over ten schools in attendance.
