Kamar Hamza
is a Ph.D holder in the Department of Political Science, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai. He was on Crossing Boarders Mentoring Scheme of the British Council from 2004 to 2004. He is a former Chairman, Association of Nigerian Authors, Niger State; he is the Chairman, National Teen Authorship Scheme Committee, ANA; Member, OMEP Nigeria and; Member, Creative Writers for Tourism. He is the Editor-in-Chief, Polar Magazine; one-time Principal, FOMWAN College, Minna; and currently, the Proprietor of Legend International School, Minna.
His published books are Best Book of Rhymes (1998), Rhino and other Rhymes (2000) and Faisal and the Zuma Rock (2008). He has edited many books which includes: The Unique Madmen (2001); Vineyard of Angels (2006) and Breaking the Bud (2008). His creative pieces have appeared in the following journals/anthologies, Dance Steps of Dawn (1998); Martyr of Democracy (2001); Pregnant Skies (2003); Golden Footprint of a Mandarin (2003); ANA Quarterly Review (2003); Camouflage (2006); Prosipisia (2006) Crown Journal (2009) and Other Voices.net among other Journals and websites. He has reviewed books and has written literary articles onwriters like Mariama Ba, B.M. Dzukogi, Abubakar Gimba, Odia Ofeimun, Amanze Akpuda and others.
