HADIZA IBRAHIM ALIYU SCHOOLS FESTIVAL (HIASFEST)

The Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation inaugurated NIFESTEENA in April 2017 to further institutionalize teen authorship in Nigeria. Over the years, this came after exporting the idea to the national body of the Association of Nigerian Authors and some federation states.
After decades of promoting the idea of teen authorship around the country, NIFESTEENA became a national platform where products are to be showcased annually from all the states of the federation through contests, exhibitions, and discourses.

For four days, teen artists gather and engage in a rigorous show of skills, guts, and intellectual power in a wholesomely rewarding contest. At Hiasfest, we see beauty in contests, shocking performances, unlimited friendship, unity and camaraderie; we see cash, trophies, plaques, and books as rewards for excellence; we see tears and joy for feats achieved or missed; we see the euphoria of setting forth the new generation of Nigerian craftsmen and women, in the most formidable and functional way, daring to go and break bounds; and we see young investors and craftsmen. This is HIASFEST!
This apex gathering of teen artists, in the biggest black nation on the earth, Nigeria, is sponsored by Alh. Bala Abdullahi Kwatu and the Aliyu Trust Foundation.
